01The challenge

In a barbershop the internet drops and the register can’t stop. It needed a system that charges, schedules and tracks each barber’s commission even offline, and syncs on its own when the signal is back.

02What we built

What we built

01

Offline checkout

Every sale is stored on the device first. A queue sends it to the server as soon as the signal returns, with no duplicates.

Daily schedule on a phone

02

Cash, debts, expenses and commissions

The owner sees what came in, who owes, what was spent and each barber’s share, without doing math by hand.

Customers with visits and debts (personal data hidden)

03

Several shops, separate data

Each shop sees only its own data. Three roles: admin, cashier and barber.

Team with performance and commissions per barber

04Craft details

Technical decisions, in plain words.

  • 01

    Offline queue in IndexedDB

Operations stack up in the browser and are replayed in order. If the internet drops mid-sale, nothing is lost.

  • 02

    Per-shop security

Access rules live in the database: even if someone tampers with the app, they can’t read another shop.

  • 03

    Instant feedback

The screen updates before the server answers, so the barber never waits with the customer in front of them.
